Alter Eco, a Renewal2 portfolio company, has been acquired by Next World Evergreen. This transaction preserves the company’s deep mission and delivers a good outcome for all stakeholders.

Alter Eco was an early investment for Renewal2 and we have been proud to partner with a company that has grown to be a model impact company. All of its products are organic, carbon-neutral, Fair-Trade, and sourced from farmer owned coops around the world. To complete “Full Circle Sustainability”, Alter Eco launched the world’s first fully compostable stand-up pouch for their quinoa line. In recognition of its commitment to sustainability, Alter Eco is a four time B Corp “Best for the World” honoree and was the 2015 B Corp “Impact Company of the Year”.
